  • Information A premix or preliminary mix is a uniform mixture of vitamins and minerals (alone or together) and other ingredients (preservatives, antioxidants), which is included in a formulated diet in very small quantities. Premixes are used to facilitate uniform dispersion of microingredients in a larger mix.
