  • Information Necrotising hepatopancreatitis, also known as infection with Hepatobacter penaei, is a epizootic disease of farmed shrimp. Infection with Hepatobacter penaei means infection with the pathogenic agent Candidatus Hepatobacter penaei, an obligate intracellular bacterium of the Order α-Proteobacteria.
