  • Information Epizootic haematopoietic necrosis virus is a double-stranded enveloped DNA virus in the genus Ranavirus in the family Iridoviridae. It is the causative agent of epizootic haematopoietic necrosis disease in redfin perch and rainbow trout, although other finfish species can be experimentally infected.
