  • Information Sinir hücrelerinin perikaryon kısımları beynin medullasında, orta beyinde ve omuriliğin sağrı bölgesinde olan, uzantıları ise birçok organın duvarına kadar uzanan, pregangliyonik ve postgangliyonik uzantılarda uyarılan asetilkolin kullanarak ileten, bazı organlarda sempatik sinir sisteminin etkisini artırıcı, bazı organlarda ise azaltıcı olarak görev yapan, bağırsak ve kan damarlarındaki istemsiz kas hareketi, göz, tükrük bezleri, mesane, rektum ve eşeysel organlardaki salgılamaları, iç organlara giden vagus sinirini kontrol eden, otonomik sinir sisteminin bir kısmı.

  • Information The parasympathetic nervous system (PSNS) is one of the two divisions of the autonomic nervous system (a division of the peripheral nervous system (PNS)), the other being the sympathetic nervous system. The parasympathetic system is responsible for stimulation of "rest-and-digest" or "feed and breed" activities that occur when the body is at rest, especially after eating, including sexual arousal, salivation, lacrimation (tears), urination, digestion and defecation.
